Good afternoon people
Can a lazy Nigerian Youth do exploits for his country?
This is the first question I asked myself when I heard how President Mohammadu Buhari described the youth of NIGERIA,...THE GIANT OF AFRICA.....THE LARGEST ECONOMY IN WEST AFRICA and above all THE COUNTRY THAT HE LEADS.
Then I went on to do a count on the youth of today, who are making it BIG, youth who are carving out niches for themselves in order to uphold the nation's status and maintain its good name and I realized that they are innumerable. I mean if the Nigerian Youth were truly lazy, then WizKid wont have been where he is today. If Nigerian Youth were truly lazy, Blessing Okagbare wont have gotten to where she is today. If Nigerian Youth were truly lazy, Linda Ikeji wont have gotten to where she is today. If Nigerian Youth were truly lazy, the Super Eagles wont have qualified in the World Cup. If Nigerian Youth are truly lazy, the paralympians wont have brought home any gold medal. If Nigerian Youth were truly lazy, I wont be here posting this write up. If Nigerian Youth were truly lazy, Folarin Falana FalzTheBadGuy wont have been called to bar. If Nigerian Youth were truly lazy, we would not have had millions of them working in the biggest firms we know today. If Nigerian Youth were truly lazy, TY Bello will not have brought Jumoke a bread seller to limelight. If Nigerian Youth were Lazy then they wont have been part of the people that voted PMB into power. If Nigerian Youth were lazy then none of them would have had the courage to develop content for social media and thereby get popular. If a Nigerian Youth was truly lazy he wont have had the courage to break a record as a DJ. If a Nigerian Youth was lazy we wont have had corp members, young pastors, medical doctors, lawyers, engineers, accountants, pilots, and so on.
Nigerian Youth are the powerhouse of the country. They stand for energy, brains, talent, guts, intellect, ideas. The man who calls them lazy....I wonder if he skipped the age of 18 to 30 while growing up. I wonder if he suddenly became an old man overnight. Nobody grows up completely without being a youth.The Youthful stage is the afternoon of a man's life. Early in the morning of life, is when a child is born. Afternoon is when the child becomes a teenager, and then a youth. The evening is when a man is in his 40s and the night is when a man grows very very old and age.
In conlusion The Youth of Nigeria are the future, The Youth of Nigeria are the powerhouse of Nigeria. Nigeria is a cell and the Youth are the mitochondrion as well as the nucleus. Without the youth of Nigeria there will be NO NIGERIA.

NOBODY IS UGLY, NEITHER IS ANYBODY DUMB PART 1
Good day Dear TEB Readers
Today I bring to you an epistle on Confidence titled "Nobody is Ugly, Neither is Anybody Dumb". You see, when God was creating mankind, he said "Let us make man in our own image and after our own likeness" and so God formed mankind from the dust of earth and breath the breath of life into us, hence, we were created in the image and likeness of God.
When I was much younger, I was made to understand that whenever we insult or abuse our fellow man, we are indirectly insulting and abusing God. Thus, when ever we call anybody Ugly, we are indirectly saying God is Ugly, because the truth is that whatsoever we say to the least of our brother, that we say unto God, and that can cost us our eternity if we are not careful. Another truth that we must know is, that Nobody on earth is Ugly...no creature on earth is Ugly...All of us are fine in the sight of God. There is no Most Beautiful Girl, neither is there Most Handsome Boy, in the sight of God, all of us look beautiful in the sight of God because we are his creatures...Guess what? even the handicapped and the deformed are beautiful in the sight of God because they are equally his creatures.
I therefore urge every TEB Reader neither to think bad nor look down upon yourself and neither to look down nor think bad of anybody, because by doing so you are sinning against God. It is also good to consider whatever part of your body that people insult you with, as a blessing, because God has a purpose for putting that particular body part of yours the way he did. For example, If you have a Big Mouth, I mean your lips are so LARGE and people are calling you KETTLE LIPS, or FISH LIPS ELENU or ELETE POMO or ELENU APERE or SWOLLEN LIPS, or SMILING EMOJI...Guess what? Dont Cry when people are saying LET US HEAR FROM THE HORSE'S MOUTH, because God has a purpose for giving you a VERY BIG MOUTH; He might want you to be a celebrity NEWSCASTER IN FUTURE or maybe a SONG LEADER, Or worst case scenario, A COMEDIAN. so don't cry because OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES AND SUCKLINGS HATH GOD ORDAINED PRAISE.
Another one, you have a BIG HEAD and your Yoruba people call you GORIOLA, OLORI OKO, OLORI IRE, ORIMOLADE, ORIMOLUSI, ORIYOMI, ORIOWO, your English people call you EDDIE MURPHY, EDWARD, HEADQUARTERS, HEAD OF STATE, HEADMASTER, EDMINGTON GREEN, LORD EDDINGTON, HEAD BOY, and there you are, feeling bad, can I tell you something? you are making a BIG MISTAKE and committing a BIG OFFENSE by feeling bad because those names they are calling you are actually GOOD NAMES. You, having a Big Head signifies Greatness, Leadership, Brilliance, Intelligence, Strength, Wealth, Ideas,..So please don't feel bad about the BIG HEAD that you have...Because God has a purpose for Making your HEAD BIGGER THAN THE REST...Who knows? you might be the NEXT PRESIDENT OF YOUR COUNTRY or the CEO of a Company that is ranked among the best in your country.
Or you have a BIG NOSE and people are calling you NOSA, or NONSO, or PINOCCHIO or NASIRU, NASARAWA or children are calling you UNCLE NASCO ...DONT FEEL BAD, Remember feeling bad is a sin.
Or you have a Wonderful Dentition that anytime people see you they beg you "Uncle please help me open this Coke Bottle" because they feel you are "Eleyin Toothpick"...Dont feel bad because Your Smile can win you an award. If people call you Lion or Whisky because of your teeth dont feel bad...Instead be Confident
You can actually use what you have as an opportunity to get legitimate wealth, or legitimate fame. It doesn't matter if you are Plus Size, look at Oby Ezekwesili, Okonjo Iweala, Eniola Badmus, Omotunde Lolo 1, Lepacious Bose, Princess, emulate them and pursue your dreams because no body is Ugly.
If you are if you are skinny I mean Lepa, Opelenge,...and people are insulting you "See how you look like a broom stick, I fit use you do cane flog my pikin" or because of your BIG EYES you are feeling bad because somebody is calling you OKPOLO EYE or FROG PRINCESS or because you have big EARS and Akwa Ibom people are calling you ETI-ENO, or Yoruba People are comparing you to God and calling you "ELETI N GBAROYE" or ERI-OLUWA, or PAMILERIN or ERIC. Dont feel bad
In Conclusion God created those body parts in a special way because he wants you to show to others how UNIQUE you are. Because NOBODY IS UGLY NEITHER IS ANYBODY DUMB

BOREDOM
Good day TEB Readers,
Today's post is about boredom.
Boredom is a state of mind whereby an individual has nothing to do that will keep him or her busy at a particular period of time. It is the state of feeling bored or the state of being weary and restless through lack of interest.
To be bored means to feel unhappy because something is not interesting or because you have nothing to do at a particular time.
when something is boring, it simply means, that thing is not interesting, and believe you me, no individual will want to do what it is not interesting.
The above three perspectives of boredom, (boredom, to be bored, and 'boring',) are inter-related and they mean the same thing.
You know what guys?, we all have a had a fair share of being bored and the funny thing that you notice when you're bored is that the question of "what to do" pops up in our mind. Sometimes an answer to that question comes up immediately,...sometimes it doesn't. I'm sure you've had that feeling too at some point haven't you?. Do you know the most interesting things about Boredom? well, the fact is that Boredom actually brings out your creative side. A typical example of such is the cartoon "Phineas & Ferb" where the lead characters, Phineas & Ferb actually express their creative side when they are bored and they do it with their friends, and within seconds the feeling of Boredom just flies away. Our ideas, Our innovation, Our creativity,...all these things actually result from initially being bored. Most of these great men came with great ideas, some of which came from boredom. I'll tell you one secret...Most of my ideas actually came because I was bored.
The fact that you're bored doesn't mean you can't actually think of what to do to keep you busy...You can. You can use that period of boredom as an opportunity to bring out and nuture your talent. If you know you have a talent for music why don't you try songwriting; write your own stuff, write songs for other upcoming artistes,. If you are a good artist and you are bored why don't you try making a comic book, and turning your comic book into a telenovella. If you are a good writer and you are bored why dont you try creating a blog, or try writing what could be the best seller in terms of literature in the next 2-3 years. If you are a medical doctor and you are bored, think of how you can treat the next patient better than you treated the last patient.
YOU CAN USE BOREDOM TO BRING OUT THE BEST IN YOU...TRY IT TODAY...GOD BLESS YOU.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF A LAZY FAITH
Good day, Dear TEB Readers and Happy New year . It's been 2 years since I last wrote anything on my blog due to some inconveniences but By God's grace 2017. TEB is coming back to life.
Now today's blog is going to be about the reward of a lazy faith. One the one hand, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is simply defined by one major synonym: Belief . Faith is believing in God and also believing that you have received what you've been asking God for, even when the answer has not yet come. Faith is Positive Confession and Persistent Intercession. Faith is When you confess positively or when you speak things as though they are even in times when they are not, and you believe those things will be after praying that they will be. That singular act of Faith is what moves God, to make those things to be.
On the other hand Laziness, which is rather self explanatory, is the opposite of Hard Work. Simply put, Hard Work is when you dream and determine STRUGGLE and in the end, achieve your aim, but Laziness is when you DON'T.
Hard work, as earlier mentioned is part of the tool or the criteria for God to reward you. Backing up Faith with Hardwork and Self-Discipline gets you QUICK ANSWERS from God. For instance, as an under-graduate pursuing a degree in a particular course, let's picture two scenarios, From your first year, you do all that a serious student should do( i.e. work hard, read your books, pay attention to every detail, attend lectures regularly, jot down points, get the necessary materials, prepare well for test and exams, shun bad company, shun the vices, and imbibe the virtues) and continue like that throughout your years in university, God rewards you isn't it? You will Graduate well isn't it? However, the other scenario, from your first year, you become active in your campus fellowship, but you're lazy in terms of academics, you go for lectures, you jot down points, but don't read them, you don't prepare well for test and exams, you get the necessary materials but do not read them and you continue being lazy throughout university. I'm sorry but no matter how hard you pray, no matter your Faith, no matter your devotedness to God's work but God cannot and will not reward such, why? Because the Bible says Faith with works is Death. and as a matter of fact Heaven Helps Those who Help Themselves.
In conclusion I would like to say to a TEB Reader, In 2017, For God to reward your Faith, You have to Back it up with hard work, discipline, and determination to get GOOD ANSWERS. Even the Bible encourages us to be hard working. "Seeth thou a man diligent in his study, he shall stand with Kings and not before mere men," (Prov. 22:29). "Study to show yourself approved a workman that needed not to be ashamed rightfully dividing the word of truth"(2 Timothy 2:16). Finally, Strong Faith, Hard work, and Determination are the keys to success. God Bless You.

DIVINE INSPIRATION
One major advantage of walking with God and committing your totality to the service of God is that God inspires you day by day. He gives you the ideas that attract the right minds to you. The right minds are those that will help encourage and promote the idea thereby bringing it into reality. The bible was written by 40 different men through the leading of the Holy Spirit. Most of them were biblical legends. What matters most is that they committed their totality to the service of God and were divinely used to do EXPLOITS. When God calls you, you must be ready to follow, and being ready to follow simply implies Total Dedication to God. It is written"No man puts his hand on the plough and looks back". Do not let the distractions of this world overwhelm you, instead you must be determined in your heart to leave for Jesus in order to be inspired. Godly dedication brings Divine Inspiration and Divine Inspiration brings draws congregation into motivation and brings the inspiree into a state of celebration. This simply means that your ideas need to be committed into the Hand Of God in order for you to be inspired by Him and when this happens people will be blessed through those ideas and it will be of great benefit to them and as a result of this good idea you will be celebrated. In your chosen field, Great ideas matter and they form part of the innovative quality in you that helps you move yourself and your field forward. GREAT THINGS HAPPEN WHEN YOU COMMIT YOUR IDEAS ONTO THE HAND OF GOD!!!. God bless you

GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS
Matthew 7:7-9 says " Ask and it shall be given unto you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door shall be open unto you.". This is to tell you the importance of prayer. Funnily enough, Ask, Seek and Knock, are acronyms for ASK and Find, Open and Receive are acronyms for FOR. So when you ASK , that FOR is a confirmation. In that part of the scripture the ASK stands for our desire while the FOR is a confirmation and affirmation that we will Receive whatsoever we ASK FOR from God. For example my sister was terribly sick at some point in her life, that day she was terribly weak, could not eat,she couldn't walk properly and all that, we even thought she was going to die, to tell you how bad it was, but through PRAYER we prevailed and God healed her. Another instance is to tell us that God Answers Prayers even for Small Things but you know, nothing is too small for God to do. One day I was browsing on my phone and all of a sudden this phone hung and quickly displayed what Yoruba people call "O ni garri l'oju". I was bothered and I tried my best to restore it, I had even lost hope that it couldn't be repaired. After all these things I turned to God and I asked him to repair the phone for me, so I went to sleep that night. Amazingly God gave me an assurance through a dream and the following day, God repaired my phone. All these testimonies that I gave, tell us that God answers every thing we pray to Him for whether small or big, but like I said earlier, nothing is ever too small in the sight of God, because God glorifies and magnifies our situation when we glorify and magnify Him, and one way we can do this is by PRAYER because God Answers Prayers. God will hear our every cry In Jesus Name. God bless.
